Introducing a Kings and Queens Christmas Game for the Whole Family!

Christmas is a time for getting together with your loved ones, spending quality time together, and tucking into some truly spectacular grub. With our Royal themed Christmas game, A Fatal Festive Feast, you can do all three at once, all served up together with a tasty mystery!

Read on to discover more about this rather majestic game along with some tips and tricks for how to fit it into your Christmas festivities this year…

The Story

It’s the holiday season and King Gustav has gathered his family and ‘loyal’ subjects for a sumptuous Christmas dinner, complete with royally good food, awkward conversation - and regicide! The evening is full of drinks and good humour (apparently anyway) until the King finds more than a silver piece in his Figgy pudding!

The King is dead and all of you are wreathed in suspicion! It is up to you to discover who committed this terrible crime and save Christmas, or at least yours-elf!

Meet the Characters

The Deceased King Gustav – heavy is the head that wears the crown, especially when it is face down in a bowl of Christmas pudding! It appears not to be natural causes or elf-inflicted, so who could have done the deed?

The Queen – the young and beautiful second wife of King Gustav, she wouldn’t risk her neck to mess with her husband, right?

The Prince – the King is dead, long live the King! But did the Prince decide to speed up the succession?

The Princess – a modern woman in a traditional world, there is no doubt that you have the brains to pull off a murder, but did you have the motivation?

The Queen Mother – Mother to the King’s sadly deceased first wife (an accident, or so we’re told), this is one woman you wouldn’t want to mess with.

The Count – Count Allthemoney has long been an advisor to the King, but is greed his only sin?

The Countess – determined to see her husband rise, did the King have to fall to make that happen?

The Lord – one of the King’s ‘loyal’ subjects, this Lord is certainly dressed to kill, but did he?

The Jester – brightly coloured and adorned with bells, will this comic character soon be jingling all the way to his own murder trial?

The Chef – serving up a slice of drama along with a delicious, and poisoned, meal, could the chef have cooked this whole plan up?

The Server – last to touch the pudding, surely the charming server would have no reason to kill the King?

How to Play

As with all of our games, the handy how to play guide takes you through the game step by step so you always know what to do next. However, with this festive favourite, we serve you up a slightly different recipe for game play! Each round is set out like a course, allowing you to play the game while eating a delicious roast this Christmas if you wish! Don’t worry if you don’t – you can just sit back and enjoy the puns!

  • Round 1 – For Starters – Go around and introduce yourselves
  • Round 2 – We are not Amused Bouche – First round of questions
  • Round 3 –Entrée Alibi? – Knight’s Decree and second round of questions
  • Round 4 – We are still not Amused Bouche – Knight’s second decree and third and final round of questions
  • Round 5 – Just Desserts – it is time to point the finger at the killer, give your reasons, and see who is innocent and who is indeed guilty!

Thanks for checking out A Fatal Festive Feast! We at Sisters Grimm wish you a very murderry Christmas! May your days be merry and bright, and all your accusations be right!
