Introducing the release of our new all-female murder mystery game, Killer Mean Girlz! This 10-20 player 00s themed party game is also available in a classic 50/50 male female split. The Theme
If you are one of the many people who grew up on Mean Girls, the sensational and oh so fetch movie that became an instant classic in the 2000s, this game is for you! Enter the cutthroat world of an early 00s high school, where sitting at the wrong table can have dire consequences, and who you ask to prom can literally be a matter of life or death!
Inspired by the dramas, puns, and quotes of 00s movies and music, our 00s teen murder mystery game is perfect for teenage dirtbags and mystery lovers of all ages. But be warned, the killer is sure to say oops, I did it again long before they offer you confessions!
The Plot
It all seems like a normal day. Kids attending their school clubs, arguments over prom dates, popularity, and school pride. Until Chase Prewitt, the Class President, is found murdered in the school cafeteria. The killer? One of you. Your role as one of the plastics, band geeks, or other clichéd and comically exaggerated stereotypes of a 00s movie is to find out whodunit.
Our all-female version still maintains side stories of who is taking whom to prom and the other issues plaguing a typical group of 00s kids, but with one big exception. In this group of mean girls lurks a killer, and the female is the deadlier of the species…
Playing the Game
The game begins with an introduction read out by the host, followed by the mingling of the classmates to find out who is who and a bit about why they are here. You will then look at the evidence discovered on the body of Chase Prewitt, ask questions of each other, and even play truth or dare for some extra fun high school memories.
This will continue as more murders are committed and more evidence is found. You will also be prompted at some point in the game to steal the spotlight. You will have a few sentences or even a bit of improvised singing or dancing to perform to your classmates relating to the murders. At the end of round 3, it is time to fill out your killer cards and don’t forget the motive as well as the who.
Dress to Kill!
From Ugg boots to crimped hair, skater shoes, double denim and more, 00s fashion really had something for every clique and style, and you can find them all in our costume suggestions. Pick a character that mimics your style from the time or now, or go for something completely different. Dressing up is half the fun!
One of the best parts of picking a theme like the 90s or 00s is that much of the fashion has come back around. You should be able to put together a totally fetch outfit from your own wardrobe, a friend or family member, or one of the amazingly cheap charity shops on the high street.
